In our tests with Cinebench R15 (which loops through various rendering tasks), it hit 535 points—the same as a Core i5 processor but not quite as fast as Intel’s latest.

Verdict

The newest laptop from Asus is one of their fastest and sleekest to date. While it’s not perfect, with a couple of small flaws that most people wouldn’t notice, it’s a great buy for those who want an inexpensive gaming computer with solid video performance and battery life. It doesn’t hurt that it looks fantastic, either. If you don’t need hardcore gaming features or a high-end display, it might be worth taking a look at.
